Roster Verification
Your name, email and roster code are embedded in every .ics file you send. Staff can verify a roster is genuinely from you by checking the sender email matches what you've registered here, and confirming the roster code matches the one you've shared with them in person or via a trusted channel.

Roster Code
A short code you share with staff out-of-band (verbally, on a noticeboard, or in a group chat). Every .ics you send includes this code — staff check it matches before accepting a shift.
Share this code with your team when they first join. Change it if a staff member leaves on bad terms or you suspect it has been shared outside your team.
Minimum Engagement
Shortest shift each staff type may work per engagement. Shifts below these show a warning in the Roster (a warning only — you can still save). Set these to match the award that covers your venues.
Payroll Export Setup
BarRosta classifies when hours were worked. You decide what they're worth by mapping
each bucket to a pay item that already exists in your Xero or MYOB payroll — pay items can't
be created by import, so set them up there first.
